This book is not going to teach you how to make surface pattern designs. Some level of surface pattern design knowledge is recommended, especially if you want to sell your patterns as wallpaper. Your designs can be incredibly simple and be your best selling product. Trust me !

That said... if you're a total beginner, don’t feel deflated by what I just said. Seriously, this book might just be something you keep in your back pocket for later, for when you do pick up those beginner skills and you’re ready to hit the ground running with a plan.

You should be able to look at your design feel that  you’d want to buy it for yourself.
